                            Garage Sale

             and Poker Tournament

The garage sale will be this Saturday at 7:00am!!  If you want to donate items to sale please let me know.  If not, come by and purchase some things to help out the ladies!!!  It will be Runt’s house which is at 500 N. Tyler at the corner of Lee Street.  It is just a couple of blocks off Van Buren and not too far from University.  For more info you can post a comment and I’ll try to help you out!

hate getting up early for garage sales?

                           

my therapist, yes i go to therapy, told me about this cool website where people of little rock (and a bunch of other cities) give stuff and find stuff for free.  it’s like going to a garage sale without getting up or paying!  you can offer things to give or find things to take.  it is so cool and helps lower the amount of junk we throw out or keep piling up in our homes.  i joined and already got some cool old windows for becca to fix up and use for stained glass projects!  i just sent an email and the windows were waiting for me on the curb.  if you are into this kind of stuff, check it out!

the past

                                       

why do we hold on so tightly to the past and how we feel about someone or a situation?  so many things going on in people’s lives right now are so in the past.  it’s time to move on.  let go of anger and hurt and bitterness.  let go of people you love, but know you shouldn’t be with.  let go of a bad memory or event or a big mistake.  it already happened and you can’t change it.  things happen and people come into our lives for a reason, good or bad.  BUT, that doesn’t mean we have to hang on to it forever.  i know, i do it a lot.  it really feels much better not to use of so much of your time and energy worrying or being angry or wishing or what ifs….the one thing i have learned from people in my life is ‘"be here now"-not dwelling in the past or stressing about the future.  just have fun and take care of YOU.  this isn’t aimed at anyone in particular, but i think we all can take a little from it…including myself.  there are a few things i need to let go of…

so my cousin had to borrow my camera before i could download my pics from last night so you’re just gonna have to wait for the birthday party pics!

you’ve got to go check out the OLD SCHOOL movie website! oldschool-themovie.com. you can actually play the streaking game.  a little animated, naked frank runs around town streaking!  they are some great clips too…once it hits your lips, great little saturday planned…also, the napoleon dynamite site has great clips too.  you can also download screen savers and soundbites!  lucky!  Nice ponytail!  Brandi, i know you’re jealous!
